Day 51: Open Studio Days

Photograph of an array of new fabric panels for textile artists.

Open studio days require a lot of preparation, but I love them. The people who come are genuinely interested in art, and want to talk about all aspects of the creation process. Everything from themes, techniques, inspiration, mediums, what’s coming next, and more. They are always the best conversations.

The photograph below is my gallery wall as it was for the 2024 Golden Plains Arts Trail.

2025 Golden Plains Arts Trail

It’s the time of year when I’m beginning to plan for the 2025 Golden Plains Arts Trail. This year the open studio days are Saturday 12th and Sunday 13th April, the weekend before Easter. More information will be coming, but if you want to visit my studio, and see other artist studios, put these dates in your calendar!

What You’ll See on My Open Studio Days

I’m working on a new exhibition, with new paintings, prints, gift cards, tote bags, scarves, and notebooks.

You’ll also find more textiles for sale this year. Hand printed items, as well as fabric panels and fat quarters for your own textile projects. Sign up for my newsletter to be alerted when I have new items for sale.

In the meantime, if you’re looking for gifts featuring my original designs and artworks, check my online shops. Take a look at my RedBubble, Bluethumb and Spoonflower pages. If you click on a design you like, you can see the fabrics and home decor items featuring my work.
