The Journal to the Self course covers 18 different journaling techniques which will help you to explore the various aspects of yourself, your life and your relationships with other people. This might interest you if you are considering change, or if you want to record your joys, or work through something which is concerning you.
This is a writing course, not a therapy course, and it is designed for everyone, whether you think you can write or not. However, you may find new insights by using the journaling techniques. While sharing experiences can be helpful, in this course, your privacy is valued over sharing, so there is no pressure to read what you have written.
My classes are small, with a focus on self exploration.
Based on the work of Kathleen Adams, psychotherapist and founder of the Centre for Journal Therapy, ‘Journal to the Self’ is a 12 hour course. Depending on your needs, I can run this in the following formats:
- 4 sessions of 3 hours duration
- 3 sessions of 4 hours duration
- 6 sessions of 2 hours duration
- 2 day intensive with 6 hours of class each day
I can also develop a shorter, customised workshop to meet the needs of your group.
